Every BrightPath client is unique, even those with similar financial matters. Your cultural background, childhood experiences, attitudes, goals, emotional make-up, family situation, spending patterns, income level, and income trajectory all contribute to your individual relationship with money. We each arrive at our decisions relying on some combination of objective data and emotional pulls. So, what factors drive your relationship with money and financial decisions?
At BrightPath, we prioritize knowing you as a person, not just getting to know your numbers; What are your life’s dreams? What’s most important? How do you make decisions? How are you feeling about your finances today? Asking the right questions and listening to your answers helps us guide you and your family to your best financial decisions.
Here’s what you can expect when you work with BrightPath:
Collaborative discussions, where we talk through your goals and uncertainties.
Comprehensive advice integrating all of your personal financial matters.
A financial coach who will analyze your data and personal situation, and then provide unbiased, objective guidance.
Honest feedback regarding your situation, and the steps required to reach your goals.
A team relationship that deepens as we get to know each other.
Insightful advice and concierge service, where your best interests and well-being are our key priority.

Meet Harlan
Your Guide on your Path to Financial Success
Hi, I’m Harlan Freeman, BrightPath’s Principal Advisor and Founder.
I founded BrightPath because, in my opinion, there is just not enough high-quality comprehensive, unbiased advice available for those seeking financial guidance. I enjoy nothing more than bringing peace of mind and happiness to my clients, as I see them succeed in achieving their life goals. For more than 30 years, I have worked with a broad range of clients in providing financial guidance.
My professional background includes experiences in corporate and personal finance with both large and small firms. I’ve held executive management positions, and I’ve also spent years honing my craft of advising business executives, professionals, entrepreneurs, retirees and their families.
Immediately prior to founding BrightPath, I spent more than three years working with Trinity Financial Advisors. At Trinity, my clients invested assets ranging from under $1 million to more than $30 million. I assisted them on their financial planning and tax planning, and also managed their investment portfolios. My clients included legal, financial and healthcare professionals, and also current and former executives at well-known firms including Sears, Microsoft, Baxter Pharmaceuticals, Home Depot, Radio Shack, and Motorola.
Outside of the office, you can often find me attending to the demands of Charlie, my 15-year-old yellow lab. I also enjoy golfing, traveling and attending local theatre productions.
RIP Charlie
